Jiangyin Peninsular owns usable industrial land 30km2, and tideland nearly 30km2 which can be used for sea reclamation. Now we are implementing 2387 hectares sea reclamation in the south of Jiangyin Peninsular to satisfy coastal large projects. Besides, the area of 300km2 surrounding Jiangyin Peninsular can be developed and used. It provides a reliable guarantee for the long-term development of coastal industry.

FJEDZ has been continuously improving its infrastructure facilities for instance highway, and expressway. Besides, the high-speed rail is now under construction, and will be put into use by 2011. Currently, the local waterworks offer purified water 30,000t, and raw water 150,000t, daily. The data will be upgraded to 450,000t daily in 2011. There are a 35kvA, a 220kvA and two 110kvA transformer substations. A gas transporting line of Fujian LNG comes across



FJEDZ and a service point will be built. A fire station and a national steam flowrate station have been set up. A new harbor city construction is launched, the infrastructures such as hotel, restaurant, entertainment, bank, telecom, and insurance company are starting the business successively. The Jiangyin port service centre, and the Rongqiao Hotel which is constructed according to the five-star standard are both already in use.

FJEDZ is holding to pay equal attention to both construction and protection.  In FJEDZ, the designed daily treatment capacity of Jiangyin Sewage Treatment Plant is 120,000t, currently the working capacity is 20,000t, and will soon be increased to 40,000t. Central heating can supply steam one million tons a year. The green and beautified environment of FJEDZ is very beautiful, and there are a landscape park by the sea. Our goal is to make FJEDZ an ecological demonstration zone in Fujian province.

In FJEDZ, Fuzhou Bonded Logistics Park and Fuqing Export Processing Zone have started the operation, which started to have a functional effect on both complementary advantages and preferential policies. The declare integration of the Bonded Port consisting of Fuzhou Bonded Logistics Park, Fuqing Export Processing Zone, Rail Logistic Zone, and part of Jiangyin container berths, has been submitted to the State Council by FuJian Provincial Government.
