In Spring 2009, after the establishment of the ‘Three Direct Links’ between Fujian and Taiwan, the State Council of P. R. China promulgated several proposals on supporting the development of the West-Taiwan Strait Economic Zone. As part of the West-Taiwan Strait Economic Zone, and a rapid growing investment hot spot, FJEDZ is now facing an unprecedented opportunity of development.
